Deuteronomy 29:29 (KJV) “The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.”
The LORD our God wants us to seek Him. There are many things about the LORD that are concealed in Him; uncovering these mysteries of the kingdom requires a sincere, passionate, and diligent searching of the Scriptures, by the help of the Holy Spirit. The Bible says, “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing ...” (Pro 25:2; KJV). It is our duty to thoroughly search out the deeper meaning of all that God says in His Word. Perhaps, the LORD God conceals truth to invite pursuit.
God’s wisdom is a mystery. It is a wisdom that has been hidden, which God had planned for our glory before the world began (1Co. 2:7; GW). But God reveals them to us through His Spirit, even the deep things of God (1Co. 2:10). The Lord Jesus said, “When He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). The mysteries of the kingdom are not uncovered by casual reading, intellectual brilliance, or religious routine, but by hearts that hunger, seek, knock, and wait upon the Holy Spirit.
