Matthew 6:10 (KJV) “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”
One of the most important passions a believer in Christ Jesus must have is to see God’s kingdom come, and His will be done in the earth, as it is in heaven. Remember that the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Rom. 14:17). Again, I want to focus on the subject of “righteousness” in God’s kingdom. The LORD our God wants all men to be saved, and to be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (1Ti 2:4; 2Co. 5:21). This is a priority to God. This is why the Psalmist said, “I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips... [10] ... I have not concealed thy ... truth from the great congregation” (Psa. 40:9-10; KJV). The LORD our God loves righteousness and hates wickedness (Psa. 45:7). So, the LORD God blesses any man that turns many to righteousness; He makes them shine as the stars for ever and ever (Dan. 12:3).
Now, a man of righteousness is a man of justice (uprightness, integrity) and equity. Justice (Heb. mishpat) refers to right judgment, fairness, doing and defending what is right. Proverbs 21:3 (KJV) says, “To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.” But, for a man to have a right standing with God, the grace of God must be at work in him, enabling him to say, “no” to all forms of ungodliness, injustice, and worldly lusts (Tit. 2:12). We all must cry out to God for this grace. Apostle Paul said, “The longings to do what is right are within me, but will-power is not enough to accomplish it” (Rom 7:18; TPT). Therefore, to walk in right-standing with God, we need the grace of God. No wonder, Apostle Paul said, “by the grace of God, I am what I am ...” (1Co. 15:10).
* Cry out to God for His grace to walk in right-standing with Him.
